Introduction
Northern Italy Italy
We offer you an experience in the Gran Paradiso National Park area. This is the oldest Italian National Park and has an area of over 70,000 hectares. It is located between the Aosta Valley and the Piedmont winegrowing region. The park is home to many peaks exceeding 4,000 meters above sea level, creating a typical alpine environment with glaciers, rocks, larch trees and fir woods.

In the saddle we will experience the beauty of these mountains, far away from mass tourism, allowing for perfect relaxation in harmony with nature.
Discover small villages of very ancient origins, built in hollow of pastures at the foot of Punta Leissé and be awe-struck by panoramic views over the valleys of Aosta, Cogne, Valsavarenche, Val di Rhemes, Valgrisenche, as well as numerous peaks.

Seasons
The high mountains that surround the valley prevent access by humid air masses from the Mediterranean sea or Atlantic ocean, which allows for a certain aridity (less than 500 mm of preciptation per year).

During winter, due to the temperature and the average high altitudes, the precipitation is mainly snowy.
The summer season is instead characterized by convective precipitation, with frequent development of thunderstorms or showers.
Spring and autumn are characterized by stratiform rainfall, which can generate rainfall events that sometimes last for several days.
